Ron has a problem that truly speaks to the dilemmas of our day. He wants to get a $5 footlong at Subway, but on a 6" roll to save carbs and calories. The sandwich artists at his local Subway insist that this is not possible, and that he needs to pay more than the price of a $5 footlong because he is really ordering a six-inch sub with double meat. It's an exquisite kind of fast-food logic where you pay more and get less.

Ron buy the foot long, cut it in half, take the meat off one half and place it on the other and through away the half without any meat... beat them at their own game... should work huh?
It sucks, I attempted to explain that to the "sandwich artists" too. So I order the foot long with all the topping to be placed on one side, I ask for it to be cut in half and when they are finished and I pay the $5, right in front of them, I open it up, take the meat from the one side and place it on the side with all the toppings and toss the unused half in the trash. Yup, its wasting but,,
