Advertising on Salisbury News pays off in a very big way. I know, I know, it sounds like we're trying to solicit advertisers, but we're not. We appreciate every single business that advertises with us and we love paying those advertising dollars forward for those in need.
The Downtown Plaza is NOT a bad place to start a business. Advertise in the right place and people will come. Just ask Pani Pizza or Eric (the Barber) Ludwig! We have an advertiser here that swears they ran ads for years with the Daily Times and never had a customer walk through their door stating they came to that business because of an ad they saw in the DT's. However, they get customers walking in every day saying they saw their ad on Salisbury News.

Really need to take all the tree's and junk off the plaza, pave it and make parking spots on both sides. I and others might actually be tempted to go there for something then.
I don't disagree with the parking on the Plaza but no matter what, you put the right anchor businesses on the Plaza and people won't care about where they can park.
I like Eric and he cuts my hair one a month, but may want to start looking for an assistant. I don't know if I'd wait more than an hour.
Must be the combination of Salisbury News Advertising AND that great looking window lettering done by Signs By Tomorrow!!!!
Did you do those signs? Makes the whole store front.
It also doesn't hurt to have a business that offers something people want and need!
Or to do a quality job or give OMG what's it called? customer service!
Eirc is a great guy and i am glad he has done so well. If the place is busy I just come back later. He often says he is there an hour or so past his closing time-I have never seen him refuse service at the end of his day. Geez-you wonder what is wrong with other businesses that gripe about no customers...

Eric is a great guy and I am glad he is doing well.
Eric is fantastic! He stayed well past his 3pm closing time last saturday, he cut my hair at 3:10 and there were still customers waiting. He is top notch!
