Saying Goodbye To Incandescent Lamps?

Twenty-nine U.S. Senators have signed on to burn, not ban, incandescent light bulbs. Senators Jim DeMint (R-SC) and Mike Enzi (R-WY) have 27-co-sponsors for the BULB, "Better Use of Light Bulbs", act which overturns repeal standards in the 2007 energy law that effectively bans traditional incandescent light bulbs starting in 2012.

Good. I don't want to be forced to buy CFL light bulbs that contain mercury and would harm my family.

Good to see how the GOP is using it's power to work on important job-creating, socialism-ending policies rather than empty-rhetoric, base-pleasing B.S.

And things are different now how?

I'm an energy nut {tree hugger}, and a licensed master electrician.....PLEASE.... keep using old style bulbs, I own shares in utilities. My retirement is based upon the STUPIDITY of others.
