How far we have come since 1903. Almost full circle.

We celebrated manned flight at Kill Devil Hills then and now we embrace unmanned drones in war and border patrol.

Orville & Wilbur Wright lay claim as first in flight - and rightfully so.

When they try and market their invention to the US Government - they are rebuffed.

So - when one of the brothers dies - the other essentially gives up - and then the US Government wants them to turn over their flying machine to a US museaum so our government can take credit for their achievements in aeronautical engineering.

No way Jose - the familiy decides to donate their machine to a European museum instead.

I'm not making this stuff up folks - Google and read the full story about how the US Government 'cold shouldered' the Wright Brothers achievements.

3:31... Then why are many Wright flyers in a museum at the oldest operational airfield in College Park, MD? Where the military trained on and flew a few of their planes.. Not to mention the ones you can find in the National Air and Space Museums. Doesn't sound like a cold shoulder to me.

After personally visiting these museums, I believe you are making this stuff up.
