Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On October 4, 2010 at approximately 3:10 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the area of the Super Fresh Food Store on College Avenue for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival to the area, the officers located and apprehended the suspect on Eastern Shore Drive. The suspect was positively identified by employees of the Super Fresh Store as the suspect observed taking food from the store without making payment. The food was recovered from the parking lot of the store.

ARRESTED: Dequan Maurice Bratten, 18 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Theft (under $ 100)
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On October 5, 2010 at approximately 1:30 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant obtained after the investigation of a commercial burglary. Salisbury Detectives obtained the warrant following the investigation of a burglary that occurred on February 10, 2010 at the Shore Stop convenience Store on Mt. Hermon Road. The suspect broke into the store through a plate glass door and took a significant amount of beer and cigarettes.

ARRESTED: Nicholas William McQuown, 20 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Second degree burglary
Theft (under $ 100)
Malicious destruction of property

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking
