Port Chester NY Gives Latinos 6 Votes Per Person!

Our constitution has received a major blow. This is WAY out of control.

This is old news, but insulting, nevertheless. Hispanics move into an area and because they represent a small minority of voters, they can't seem to get any Hispanics elected. Whose problem is THAT? Apparently, according to ANOTHER activist judge (who is no longer relegated to "interpreting the law", but is now "righting PERCEIVED wrongs" and like the judge in California that struck down the voter approved ban on gay marriages because he "KNEW" why most voters voted against the law (HOMOPHOBIA) it the fault of all the white people who live there for not being open minded enough to elect Hispanic representatives. Like the people who move to a particular neighboorhood because the schools are good, only to be told by the government that they will be bussed 45 miles away to a DIFFERENT school because the government want to make sure they interact with "diverse" student bodies, these people have their intentions and their right to choose upended by a judge who (surprise!!) knows whats best for them. Public masters. Not public servants. Maybe the Hispanic candidates didn't have platform that appealed to the majority of voters. Maybe the majority of voters hated Latino candidates (NOT against the law, yet). It doesn't matter ---- one person, one vote. America is deeply deeply in trouble....armed revolt is looking better all the time...

This is simply astounding

Wikipedia says that over 50 communities use this method, all resulting from lawsuits under the 1965 Voters Rights Act. It is also heavily used in corporate governance. Illinois used it to elect its state legislature until 1980, when it was repealed.
Fox news portrays it as a first time thing, and as likely unconstitutional, which I guess it is not. They also show the photo of the black judge who ordered it.
The entire story is race baiting to stir up anger among conservatives and sell advertising.

Bill wikipedia? OK. There may not be a specific amendment to the constitution or a specific right in the bill of rights but do we really need someone to tell us when it's raining when water falls from the sky? This violates anyones sense of fairness - regardless of what any court says. If the courts said tommorrow that slavery is now legal, would you agree with them? Of course not! This erodes the very foundation of our republic. I'm with Imclaim. It IS looking better.

If we dont stick to the constitution, what ya fightin for? Was the American dream half true when we learned it? Is it less than half of that now? Today it seems for alot of folks that keeping the American dream cost them everything else, you know the moments of grace with friends, lovers, spouses and grand babies. The small things that we all die with. Dont sound like a good dream comin to me. Hell thats 3/plus years this storm has stayed put how many hours of worry did you have where you could of been enjoying grace? You ALL know what Im talkin about, and you know it. Just sucks.

You took the bait.
I can watch Fox news for about 90 seconds. They purposely leave out information in order to sensationalize.
This cumulative voting thing came up with Lani Guinier, a Clinton nominee. Fox knew this but omitted it.
Karl Rove said,"Fear plus anger equals enthusiasm."
They're turning out their voting base.
The economy and war should be the issues discussed, not this, mosques, the fourteenth amendment being re written.
This is bait and switch junk.
