President Barack Obama on Saturday accused Republicans of holding American small businesses "hostage to politics" after Republican senators refused to back a $30 billion small-business lending package.

I own a small business, and I'm shutting it down-- not because of anything the Republicans are doing, but because the taxes and government interference from the current administration are making it not worth doing.
The DEMOCRAT policies are the small business killers.
Damn straight they are. Obama the liar can try to paint this any way he wants. The economy sinks further into the tank and he is pissing up our legs and telling us it's raining. You wait until he let's the tax cuts expire in January and see what happens. He and his minions are ruining this country. Don't get me wrong. Bush had something to do with this by spending money we didn't have, but Obama has tried to spend our way out of a recession and when the government runs out of money, the unemployment will skyrocket. I know of tywo businesses that have been taking advantage of large construction jobs funded by stimulus money. Those jobs have almost come to an end and there is nothing coming in from the private sector. In fact there has been nothing coming in from the private sector in a long time. If the continue to print more money our dollar will continue to decrease in value on the world market. Just wait and see what this winter will bring. Tragedy and hardship. No doubt they will continue to blame Bush even though they have had PLENTY of time to bring this economy back.
Cut federal spending to the bone. Eliminate federal involvement in matters in which it has no constitutional authority. Including education, highways, energy, healthcar, drugs, and ATF. Cut the FBI down to a number at which it can effectively investigate Civil rights violations. Cut current federal tax rates in half and do what we must to make the budget balance. Quit waging war and trying to force our form of government and values down the throats of other nations.
