Two Rednecks

One day, two rednecks named Bubba and Earl were driving down the road, drinking a couple of Buds. The passenger, Bubba, said, "Looky thar up ahead Earl. It's a po-leece roadblock. We're gonna get busted fer drinkin' these here beers!"

"Don't worry Bubba," Earl said. "We'll just pull over and finish drinkin' these beers, peel off the label and stick it on our foreheads, then throw the bottles under the seat."

"What fer?" asked Bubba.

"Just let me do the talking, okay?" said Earl.

They finished their beers, threw the empty bottles under the seat and slapped the labels on their foreheads.

When they reached the roadblock, the sheriff said, "Have you boys been drinking?"

"No sir." said Earl. "We're on the patch."

Why is it ok to post jokes about white steriotypes such as rednecks but not about blacks or mexcans? One steriotype about a black person from a white man, then he is labeled a racist. All bets are off when a white man jokes about a black or mexican.

It took a few seconds to get it, but that's cute.

11:06, because traditionally lovers of "black jokes" often either condoned or participated in the beating/killing of those same blacks. Get a clue and cut the "reverse racism" crap.

Haa I like that one!

11:06 Cause white people have pride in their race and culture, while blacks whether they want to admit it or not, are always looking to pull the race card...it makes them feel better about themselves if they think white people are always out to get them and is the reason for their failure at life.

Thats why....im black and im proud of it i just wish more blacks would be proud of their heritage also...its a shame

Generalize much? That's a pretty big leap from telling/listening to a joke to killing someone.

How about you get a clue.

If it's ok to tell a NASCAR joke then it's ok to tell a watermelon joke.

If Beer jokes are fine then so are taco jokes.

If blonde jokes are alright then so are afro jokes.

Jokes about women drivers should be taken in stride with jokes about male egos.

A joke is a joke. A beating or a murder... that's not a joke.

I think they are from Tyaskin! LOL

5:09 what you call "a pretty big leap" are events that took place in a not so long ago history and the sentiments remain within a certain segment of the population today.

4:05, "blacks....are always looking to pull the race card". If this is what you think of most blacks, it seems contradictory to your statement of being "proud".

It's all about context. Larry the Cable Guy tells great redneck jokes. Richard Pryor told great black jokes.

Reverse the two and it doesn't quite come out the same.

For those of you who will say Richard Pryor also took jabs at white people in his jokes, you'd be right. But I can't think of a time he didn't do it as a comparison to the equally nutty behavior of blacks.

His audiences were always integrated. Not so much Larry's.

By the way, there were never any laws restricting rednecks from sitting with non-rednecks, etc. Another one of those little details.

And those events had nothing to do with telling jokes.

Are you really saying that telling a joke in any way compares to a violent act?

If I tell a jewish joke, does that mean that I took part in the Holocaust? Does it mean that I think it was a great idea?

If you want to treat race like it is a big deal then it will always be a big deal.

Remember when Don Imus was fired for calling a mostly black womens basketball team a bunch of nappy headed ho's?

The strange part is they were not upset about being called ho's. What bothered them was being called nappy headed... and that part was mostly true.
