Joe-
This morning 3/07 between 11:15 and 11:45 my daughters car was stolen from a CHURCH on Lincoln Ave. The individual or individuals first broke into the preachers daughters house located next to the church and then stole my daughters car. The car is a Blue 1990 Oldsmobile 98 with I love justin written on the back window with white window chalk and a Vietnam Veterns and a WICO country 94 bumper sticker. The car contained both my younger and older daughters school books and purses, she is completely devastated she has only had her car and liscence for 3 weeks... Who would have thought its not even safe to go to church anymore.
If anyone has any information on the locationof this car please contact me at 410-422-0567
Thanks to everyone for all your help

Someone is walking on thin ice. My guess is it's someone who knows her.
Welcome to Salisbury. I moved from a huge city and was never a victim of crime. I live here for 1 yr and my vehicle gets vandalized and personal belongings stolen. Ppl here have no idea how good life can be elsewhere. Ignorance is truly bliss for many locals here.
It's sad to say but it's a sign of the times. I use to leave my house unlocked, my pocketbook in the car and the keys in the floor. Now, everything stays locked and the pocketbook never leaves me. I hope they find it.
I'm not justifying what was done but someone should have told her not to leave a purse, books or anything of value in the vehicle over night. This gives a crook a reason to break into the car. You can't actually believe that they wanted the car....NO...they wanted what was in the car and will probably ditch it somewhere after going through everything. I hope they find them and put them away. I also hope that she get's her belongings back, but (BUT) next time be smarter...and not naive.
I think some of you are missing the point. The car was locked she had the keys in her pocket in church... Why make her feel even worse because she left her purse and book bag in the car. She didnt commit the crime... Why make excuses for the criminal.
and who takes all their belongings INTO CHURCH? Quit justifying, Salisburians. This has become a hell-hole because of the crime, and even if this new police chief turns things around it's gonna be awhile. Sad for those of us who moved here for the lifestyle of a sweet little town this used to be.
And for those who've been here all along. Real sad.
as far as us moveing here i was born and raised here along with my daughter and the car that was stolen that was my dads that passed away in august and he too was born and raised here thank you
Joe,please correct me if im wrong, what people dont realize is that if a thief wants to commit a crime wether it be one of them breaking into a house or a car etc.,it doesnt matter what is displayed or whats locked,if the thief wants whatever hes after it dont matter how it is hes gona go after it regardless if he has to break a window or not, they dont care because they dont have to fix it.Its just that my point is if they want something they are going to do whatever it takes to get thier job done. And by the way,if the person that did this only wanted what was inside and not the car,HELLO! then they wouldnt of taken the dam car,its not like they just get in it and go,they have to break the steering wheel colom to start the car risking the more time of being seen,or caught. But this is just my opinion for what its worth.
The car will be used to commit some drive-by shooting or some robbery or something. If a witness gets a tag number, it will do the police no good. Then the car will be abandoned.
4:55 You hit that nail on the head. Also, resoectfully to blutojthetotmom, many times you have used the reference "wannabe thugs/ganstas" they aren't wanna be any more. Sadly they are thugs and gangstas. This is what has come of our youth in Salisbury.
Locks are for honest people.
