Isn't this a common sense sentiment? And isn't this the same mantra that conservatives use to advocate for lower taxes i.e. lower taxes equal job creation which means more people pay into the system and greater business profits mean increased gov. revenue.
Democrats think that money is only good in the hands of government. They think people are not smart enough to take care of themselfs so the government will take care of everyone from the womb to the tomb. They keep repeating "what the American people want is". Frankly what I want is for the government to get out of my life and let me keep my money and I will take care of myself.
