He'll address Republicans in Baltimore speech, unveil stimulus details
TAMPA, Fla. - Trying to bury a year of polarization, President Barack Obama on Thursday escalated his appeal for politicians and voters alike to settle differences without tearing each other apart. His plea: "Let's start thinking of each other as Americans first."
Obama made sure to weave that message throughout his stop in Florida, one otherwise intended to promote his economic agenda by announcing $8 billion in high-speed rail awards.
Coming one day after his State of the Union address, and one day before meeting with House Republican leaders with whom he continues to battle, Obama's emphasis on civility was a nod to political reality. He needs Republicans more than ever to get his agenda passed, and he is getting saddled with more public blame for the partisanship he promised to change.

Don't forget your "barf bags"!
Obama Pleads for Civility, Cooperation. Right after he blamed the Republicans for blocking his agenda, and said the Supreme court was completely wrong about free speech, and then blamed his trouble on Bush, and said the banks were conspiring with wall street to discriminate against him in coordination with the evil Fox news.
" Let's start thinking of each other as Americans first." HAHA !!
He's not even American !!! What a crock !! He needs to go dig a hole and stick his head in it.
Obama needs to lead by example and move to the right of center and give up on his socialist radical take over !
6:35, first off Reps. have prided themselves on blocking his agenda. Secondly he stated his view on the decision just like every other american can. Third, he gave a synopsis of the status of the country when he came into office. I guess you are one of the "the recession started with Obama" crowd.
Regardless, the point is that Congress needs to be able to debate the issues based on factual analysis. And they need to put away the 24-hour campaigning and get down to governing. Stop this "you don't agree with me, so you're not American" crap and get down to debating the issues the matter to us.
9:07, you are on the Eastern Shore afterall. The land where fiction is fact and fact is fiction. There is no common sense appraoch to anything here...just mindless blind trust in the bash Obama smear machine.

I guess you don't have enough fingers and toes to figure out that the Republicans can't block ANYTHING.
The recession started with the Democrats taking control of congress in 2006. Obama turned it into a depression!
