I will say this to all of you...we all need to get in touch with our legislatures. We need tougher laws in place so that the punishment is worse. We all want and need to protect our kids. This guy should have never been allowed to see the light of day again. Actually I think if you sexually assault a child, you should be castrated.
I am praying for the family at this time. There is not one person in this town that is not angry. Everywhere I went today this is what they were talking about. It's sad. I just looked his name up on the judiciary system and he had a warrant out for him in Ocean City for burglery and malicious destruction of property. You should look his history up. It's crazy. Go to maryland judiciary system.

I have a daughter just a year older than Sarah, so I would be in line to take a swipe at this guy's genitals with a rusty razor for THIS offense. But let us not put too much on his prior - he was 21 or 22 and had charges against him regarding a 16 or 17 year old girl in Delaware. Bad guy then - maybe. Castrate for THAT - no. Would not even be a crime in some states.

While listening to scanners you must realize anything found will not be broadcast over radio for the simple reason they know people are listening. They will send text or call directly on cell phones to Lewis, Leatherbury or Ruark.

You need to do more research. There is more cases out there. The in Maryland happened when he was 18 and it says "Subject when he was 18 met a 12 yr old and befriended her and placed his finger insider her vagina. Subject has also been convicted in DE for a sex crime in 2001."
Look at all his other court records in Maryland. Hes a piece of crap and should NOT have been walking the streets.

As sick as it sounds he is being uncooperative because (more than likely) he hears the stories of states attorney's offering to eliminate the death penalty if the suspect reveals the location of the abducted person. In a demented persons mind he can escape the prosecution by using the system. He has obviously mastered the manipulation because he has gotten off several times in the past.

I wish everyone would stop complaining and speculating about how media is covering this story. I doubt you will find anyone at WBOC, WMDT, The Daily Times, SBY News, etc. whose heart is not breaking everytime this story is reported. Some of those people are parents too. In fact, one of the news people stated on the air that she IS the mother of an 11 year old child. It's not always about ratings, readership, etc. Let's concentrate our energy on what's important here.
They should release him.
