It's Wednesday night Cigar Night at the Fountain's Lagoon Bar at 6:30 PM tonight. We had a nice turn out last week and look forward to seeing even more people there tonight.
If you enjoy cigars and or even cigarettes, come join us, kick back and relax for a few hours. See you there.

I'm calling Station 16 to respond with the Ladder truck just because I quit and I'm jealous!
I thought smoking in a public place was not legal in the state of Maryland. If it's OK for you to smoke there then it should be OK for me to smoke after dinner at the restaurant of my choosing.
I don't really mean to diminish the event but, as a former smoker (cigarettes), I will say that there is no such thing as enjoying tobacco. You're either addicted to it or you are not. Maybe there are exceptions but I haven't found any and I smoked for far more years than I want to remember.
People that are addicted feel better after a smoke because their body craves the nicotine.
Go ahead and have events like this and use them to give recognition to those who have been able to quit the habit. Enjoy your own smoke if you must and people like me won't complain. If it's too offensive, we would not even be there.
Joe I have a question - Do you have a lady from VA that joins you on Wed. nites to smoke cigars? The reason I'm asking is because on my way back from Pocomoke today, there was a lady driving a white cadillac who stopped at the light next to me and she was smoking a cigar. That was a first for me, never saw a lady smoke a great big old cigar before.
Joe- it looks like you need to put some sort of disclaimer up on these posts since so many people are ignorant of the fact that the lagoon is a totally above board, LEGAL place to ENJOY a cigar...

So you are a bitter ex smoker. Who cares? You made the decision to quit- bravo on exercising your will. Some of us use our will power to hunt down premium cigars. Get over your "accomplishment". People who quit smoking don't deserve, nor should expect some sort of congratulations any more than I do when I decide to get the oranges instead of fries at Wendys.
