Traffic southbound on the New Jersey Turnpike is being shut down to allow the motorcade to proceed south on the highway. All traffic has been stopped. Police stated it is President Obama's motorcade, others on the scene are saying it is Vice President Biden. An ambulance is traveling with the motorcade.

The USSS always shuts road down when the president travels by motorcade. Thats the treatment they get when traveling in vehicle. When the president travels from Andrews AFB to the white house, he mostly takes Marine 1 but sometimes he takes the motorcade. Its cool when they come in. Everything in the flightline area shuts down. No movement. Not even the 89th SF are allowed to move unless they observe wrong doing but they still have to call it out before reacting. The USSS will shoot and ask questions later.
