You know speed cameras aren't so bad actually. I got popped with one and the best part about it is that I simply paid the tickey, BUT you don't get the points on your license since they can't 100% determine that it was you driving the car. I say go for it! It will allow cops to do other, more important things. Since you won't get points on your record and eventually everybody will know where the cameras are, there's no reason to be afraid it it.
Maybe if we had more speed cameras people would start driving better.
Is it really a bad thing? I don't think so.
I'm tired of those fools who continue on through the intersection after their light has turned RED.
I would agree with speed cameras when public officials allow every waking moment of their day to be televised. Every second, every phone call, every back room deal.
Until then, keep big brother off the streets!
9:09 hit it right on the head. It's all about the money and just another tax. The thing is, maybe you won't get caught, or go a different route.
Politicians always look for ways to squeeze as much in taxes from the citizens as they can, without raising the anger of the voters.
