I saw him at the crab derby this year and wanted to say "thanks". Then I decided the guy needed a day off and I didnt want to bother him. I think he has done a great job so far-happy birthday!

I think as a birthday present, the community should agree to not bother him when he is out with his family. Everybody loves him, I know - but his family deserves to have "family time" with him without the rest of us wanting to talk to him too.
All of our elected officials deserve that - but I think Mike's popularity makes him particularly vulnerable.
