He gave us the opportunity to have Dr. Alvarado and He gave him the strength to heal thousands of children under his care. Now, He has decided to bring him with Him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Alvarado family, staff, friends, patients and parents.

We are so saddened by this devastating news, there are no words to describe the loss that we all feel. Dr. A. was such a kind, compassionate and comforting doctor and person. This world was so blessed to be touched by this man and his legacy will never be forgotten.

The prayers that so many of us were saying daily were not answered as God must have a bigger plan to take such a wonderful person from this community. We can only try to keep his family in our hearts to help them in this sorrowful time.

Soar with the Lord and fly with the Eagles. You are now in a better place. The mysteries of life will now be revealed to you. Rest in Peace Dr.Alvarado.

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies;

who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Rest in Peace

Dr. Alvarado treated my son last December at PRMC when my son was a patient in ICU with a life threatening head injury. My son pulled through without any permanent damage thanks to Dr. Alvarado & Dr. Zant.
He will be greatly missed!
Our condolences!

But their memory remains with us
And leaves a glimmer in our heart!

Dr. A was an absolutely wonderful man, we have definetly lost one of the good ones. He was the most kind, caring, and talented physician I know. He has touched so many people in this community, and will be sorely missed. I have no clue what I will do without his wonderful guidance there is no one that compares to him. I hope that God blesses his family and his staff. I will miss you so much Dr. A, I trust no one else with my baby. I am blessed to have known you.

Dr.A was a wonderful caring man that just happened to be a wonderful doctor also. He was always there anytime of day to care for his patients like they were his own. I was blessed to have him as my doctor and now that i have become a mother of two he was always there for mine. he can never be replaced and we will always wonder why we lost a wonderful doctor, man and friend. R.I.P Dr. A you will be missed by all you have touched.
