OBAMA IGNORED THE QUESTION AND DIDN'T ANSWER IT !!!...A NUMBER OF SENATORS WERE ASKED T HE SAME QUESTION AND THERE RESPONSE WAS...WE WILL THINK ABOUT IT !!!! AND THEY DID.
IT WAS ANNOUNCED TODAY ON THE NEWS THAT THE "KENNEDY HEALTH CARE BILL"... HAS WRITTEN INTO IT THAT CONGRESS WILL BE EXEMPT (FROM THIS GREAT HEALTH CARE PLAN)..
HOW ABOUT THOSE APPLES...NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR OBAMA OR CONGRESS.. BUT "OK" FOR THE REST OF US ????????

Surprised Anyone? Not Me... Do you think our representatives(Democrats or Republicans!!) will add an addendum that would drop them from their current plan and add them to the universal coverage they are trying to shove on us? They Wont!!! They think that we (liberals, moderates, and conservatives) are stupid and will believe anything they will tell us. Its time for this bs to end. We need to vote everyone of them out in the next election. Both Democrats and Republicans.
Pretty much says it all doesn't it? The fact that Congress would add an amendment exempting them from the public plan? Obama refuses to use the public plan or use public schools for his kids? Time to PUSH BACK, all hard working taxpaying citizens, before it is toolate.

You guys DO realize that no one is talking about a single payer system, right? You can still keep your current health care insurance company. The public option is for people who can't afford or have no access to, private companies.
So, if you get to keep your current plan.. why would anyone have a problem with this? Your personal health care, if you're happy with it, doesn't change if you don't want it to.

he biggest scam is Cap and Trade. Commerce Secretary now says that the USA will have to pay for China's emissions as well.

If this plan is so great they should sign up. They would both be government ran programs. Do they think they are better then us and deserve better coverage? In a perfect world everyone would have health care, a nice big house, and the same paycheck. BUT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. This country would fall apart. The majority of Americans are getting lazy and want something for free.... Its a shame....
What happens when your private insurance drops you,under this proposed plan? Or if you are otherwise deemed "uninsurable"?
Will people still have to lose everything they worked all their life for to qualify for Medicaid in a crisis?These are questions that need answering too.
If this is Government ran Universal Healthcare then everyone including Government employees, President, Congress down the chain, should be included with no exceptions. If not leave it alone because it means scam. They can't make Medicare /Medicaid work how will they make this work. This is what they did to SSI and look at the money they are taking from SSI.
I'm sorry, guys, but no one is taking your health care away. Just like no one is taking your guns away. There are no provisions saying that you will HAVE to take the public option. It will exist to take care of the 50 million uninsured, that's all.
If you have health care coverage now, and you like it, then nothing will change.
Let's stick to the facts, please, and not any paranoid conspiracy theories.
NO ONE is proposing taking away your private coverage, if you don't want to get rid of it. NO ONE. And NOWHERE in the bill does it state anything even close to that. Can we, at the very least, agree on objective reality, instead of falling into an imaginary scheme? I like to argue the merits of the ACTUAL debate, and not some made up sideshow.

I'll have my "hit list" of incumbents with me when I vote in 2010. Delaware Congressman Mike Castle, is rumored to run for Biden's Senate job and I'm going to guess he's switching to the Democratic party. He showed his colors when he cooperated with Biden and voted for Cap and Trade in the House. I will vote for whoever he's running against.

Chuck please try to think outside the box for a second. Universal Heath Care will be ran by the government that does not work for a profit. When they go broke they just print more money. Private Insurance Companies need to make a profit for job creation, expansion, losses, etc. Private Insurance will be more expensive so people will drop out to get the "free" health care. Thus private insurance will be higher because of less people in the pot. Businesses will start dropping their health care packages because they are to expensive. Within time EVERYONE will be on Universal Health Care because a Private Company cannot compete with the Government. And Obama and every other politician will still have their own health care package...
And the people who oppose the Universal Care are the ones who will be paying for it... Seems Fair Right?
Yeah, just like the Postal Service that isn't in it for a profit. PLEASE Chuck, open your eyes. Like I said earlier, this is just another ploy for our government to eventually squeeze out everyone else because they know how much money/profit is in it.

Chuck, I don't like the current system either but what they are trying to push through us is a disaster.. Just like Medicaid, Medicare and social security. A government is politically ran. It does not operate on a business platform. We need successful business owners running this country!!
