King Obama Strikes Again

It reminds me of the "Anti - Sedition Acts" passed by King George just before the American Revolution. These acts we designed to give the British Crown the ability to persecute and then prosecute American Patriots for speaking out against the excesses of the British Government..It makes the often vilified "Patriot Act" seem tame by comparison.

This is the scariest thing I've ever seen. Pay close attention to the wording especially anything that says "as determined by the Attorney General".
Also the bottom section regarding online activity. Folks if this passes, anyone that's attended a tea party or 9.12 project or even participated online in regards to them would be eligible for the military. Nor would they be retained in the military if already serving. Basically it could include anyone "as determined by the Attorney General" as this gives the Attorney General the ability to, at his own volition, declare any group a "Hate Group". Keep in mind the TEA PARTIES HATE HIGH TAXES AND A TYRANNICAL GOVERNMENT.
This is a takeover. Now some of you will say this is only against Hate Crimes.......however it grants our already tyrannical Government the ability to bend it to their own use as determined by the Attorney General a political appointee..
H.R. 2647 has already passed the house and this was amended to it. I don't know when Congress will be voting on it but if anyone else does please let everyone know.

Here's a link to this particular section on the bill. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd
The bill is very large and will take some time to load.

Think of anything you or someone you know may have said in an email or online that may be construed to"support, encourage, or affirm the group’s extremist or violent views and goals" "as determined by the Attorney General". And what of the children of people on the "hate list". Are they to be excluded from serving? I suppose that's up to you know who. Affiliation by relation?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This Bill will give our Government, who already bends and abuses our Constitution, the ability to prosecute just about anyone they do not like "AS DETERMINED BY THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THESE UNITED STATES, a political appointee made by King Obama to do the Will of King Obama."

What will the King do next, "TAX OUR COFFEE???"

So, you support gangstas now? Let's hire some Nazis maybe?

It's always a fine line.

But the idiot who wrote this was likely the same idiot who cheered as the freedoms of GOOD people were ripped away by the "Patriot" Act.

Here, you can have my clue. I always have extras.

Read the whole passage. This clearly does not apply to a lega protest. Your "tea parties" are in no way affiliated with a hate group, are they? If they are, then they should be under scrutiny. This is just so much bullocks

This may be one of the most ridiculous posts ever on sbynews. This bill is essentially just reaffirming that people who have participated in hate groups can't join the military, that has been a longstanding rule for a while. I joined the Marine Corps at the age of 18 and they are very strict that any tattoos that one might have be documented and analyzed. If the tattoo is in any way connected to gang or hate grouop activity that person would not be allowed to enlist.

This bill is in no way shape or form intended to stop people from peacefully protesting. Just about every clause references words like ARMED, VIOLENT, SMUGGLING, TRAFFICKING, I hardly can see how one could construe that to mean one of your "tea parties".

If the tea party makes such statements as "our government in no longer looking out for best interest" or "our government is taking away our basic rights" or an mention of the U.S. Constitution, well then, yes your tea party is being outlawed.

You may not speak out in any way against this government or anything it does.

You will be taken (probably in secret) stripped of your citizen rights (as a terrorists or hate crime suspect) and held indefinitely without representation or any rights to a trial by either Judge or Assembly of Your Peers.

This government is tyrannical and has its roots in the same secret societies that influenced the Nazi Party.

Do the research folks. Stop trusting these people to protect you when time and time again they fail to protect you. How many times do you allow them to "mess up" "get it wrong" "failed to expect this to happen" etc? They don't even fire people as a result of Katrina, 911, the collapse of the banking system, etc etc Instead they say WE NEED MORE POWER and then, we will protect you. Then, with the new power, they don't scrutinize or prosecute the perpetrators of the crimes. No, they turn these beauracracies against we the people.

The question is WHO determines which groups are included?

totmom,
the AG, Eric Holder

is not our coffee already taxed? 33% rise in the cost since the FDA announcement that it's good for you last fall.

The guidelines for this are CLEARLY spelld out here. The AG has the decision, but look at what is written. Anyone who thinks the AG is just going to start outlawing groups for no reason is just cazy.

Joe,IMO, you've got this one kind of backwords. I see this as a way to ensure that we have the proper individuals in our military to protect our Country. I can also see this as a way to protect our soldiers-remember the soldier a couple months ago that took out fellow soldiers and then took his own life? Now, Joe, I know you have a son in the Military and I know that you wouldn't want to see him get hurt at the hand of a criminal or non-patriot. Is this legislation a little too over-the-top? Maybe, but if written properly then I don't see it being a problem at all. This article actually reminds me of an episode of Gangland on the history channel-they did a special on gangs in the military. It was pretty scary considering these guys had access to an incredible amount of ammo and training.

Like I said, I'm not saying that this legislation is completely right, but I do see the point in it-I mean really, why would we want non-patriotic people fighting for us? It's kind of like expecting good work out of somebody that hates their job and doesn't get paid well.
