Update On Motel Robbery Investigation- One Suspect Arrested

Location of Incident: Super 8, 729 Bay Rd, Room #119, Milford , DE, Kent County

Date and Time of Occurrence: Friday, June 5, 2009 on or about 4:11 pm

Arrested:
Gilbert Deleon, 27, Georgetown, DE

Suspect still at large:
Frederick Daniels, 41, LKA 7 Terrace Ave., Georgetown, DE

Resume:

State troopers have identified and arrested one of two suspects involved in the June 5th, motel robbery near Milford.

State police have arrested Gilbert Deleon, 27, of Georgetown, for his involved in the robbery. Gilbert was picked up at Sussex Correctional Facility located near Georgetown.

Deleon is a client at the correctional facility in Georgetown and was
on work release the day of the robbery. Troopers search a Greenwood house and found evidence implicating Deleon and Daniels to the robbery.

Deleon was charged with Robbery 1st, Burglary 2nd, Conspiracy 2nd and Wearing Disguise During the Commission of a Felony. Bail was set at $38,500.00 secured bond, Deleon was returned to the Department of Correction’s custody.

Troopers are now searching for Daniels. He is described as a back male, 5’09” and weights approximately 240 pounds.
