Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 3:45 p.m. Fruitland police received a telephone call that subjects were dealing drugs on School Street in Fruitland, Maryland. Short time later information added that wanted person Thomas Marshall AKA Tom-Tom one of the subjects on the street. When officers arrived in the area a subject at the scene advised that Tom-Tom fled into a wooded area to the south of School Street.

Officers secured area and waited for assistance from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Department. Deputy Bowden’s canine (Rocket) from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s office searched the wooded area. Rocket was able to locate Marshall who was hiding in the wooded area. Marshall was taken into custody without incident. Marshall was transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center where he was held without bond. Marshall was wanted on a warrant for attempted rape and sexual assault.
