John McCain and Barack Obama somehow ended up at the same barbershop. As
they sat there, each being worked on by a different barber, not a word was
spoken. The barbers were even afraid to start a conversation,for fear it
would turn to politics. As the barbers finished their shaves, the one who
had Obama in his chair reached for the aftershave. Obama was quick to stop
him saying, 'No thanks, my wife Michelle will smell that and think I've been
in a whorehouse,' The second barber turned to McCain and said, 'How about
you?' McCain replied, 'Go ahead, my wife doesn't know what the inside of a
whorehouse smells like.'

After what McCain did to his ex-model wife after a car accident disfigured her, I don't want to hear another word about what a man of character he is.
The ex-wife still loves him and won't say a word against him, but people who knew them didn't think well of him or what he did to her. The term "opportunist" came up frequently. He's paying her med bills for life -- at least his guilty conscience and a rich new trophy wife for him paid off for the ex.
I'll stop when crap like this about Obama stops. McCain is a war hero and I respect that about him, but he's no saint and he supported Bush and is using the same smarmy tactics Bush used against him to win. Maverick, my a$$, he's a sell out like the rest of them.

I don't like Mrs. Obama. I believe anything she says or has said is a fair target. I hope Obama is soundly defeated in November. But this joke implies that Mrs. Obama would know what the inside of a whore house smells like, presumably by working at one. Doesn't this cross the line of decency? I don't believe a political candidate or anyone should have their wife sexually assaulted in a public forum, even in jest. Just one man's opinion

I found it kind of funny myself. This seems to be the cleanest campaign on both sides that we've had for years and while I hope it stays that way, sometimes a joke is just a joke, meant to be funny. I really hope McCain wins in November but would love to see Bush serve for 4 more years. There are actually some of us who have supported him the last 8 years and still do.

come on, all politicians take quotes out of context to use in their ads, and to be completely honest, most people do it themselves. I mean, really, who hasn't told a story and left part of it out either to make themselves look better, make the story funnier, etc. Or even look at advertising in general, false claims are made all the time, selective quotes used to promote the product, for example, how many "new and improved" versions of the same product can there really be?
The irony here is that Mrs. McCain had sex with McCain while he was still married... so I'm pretty sure that makes her more of a "whore" than Mrs. Obama, who did not do anything like that.
It would be funnier if the names were reversed, because there's actually a kernel of truth when it's that way.
