Two escapees apprehended

Sorry I couldn't get this up any earlier, but it seems that the two escapees from WCDC who stole a van from the Civic Center have been apprehended. Witnesses who live on Mt. Hermon Rd. in the area of Kaywood Dr. Say they heard sirens coming up the road in their direct. One man (who wished to remain anonymous) stated that as the sirens got closer he observed a mini van being chased by a Maryland State Police patrol car passing in front of his house with a "donut spare" on the right front. He stated that as the van went by his house the MSP patrol car executed a PIT manuever at which time the back end of the van began to slide sideways. He stated that the back of the van went from side to side at which time another MSP patrol car hit the van in the front just hard enough to stop it completely after which Troopers broke the windows out of the van and .....assisted.......three suspects out of the vehicle. The witness stated that there were also Delaware State Police and Deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office involved in the pursuit. I believe the witness may have confused Worcester Co. Sheriff's office patrol cars for DSP cars. Great job!

both men were at WCDC by 3:00 pm. Both men had been taken to PRMC with no apparennt injuries. They were stupid enough to still be driving the same van they stole.

But because of overcrowding or something equally as stupid these guys will be back on our streets in a few months.
Meanwhile there are hundreds of people in jail for something like not paying child support or posession of pot...
