Poor Louweasle has let power go to her head. Such as Hitler did. But....unlike Hitler the people do not like her.
I watched PAC 14 Monday night and again when it aired. At no time during public comments did Ms. Ennis make a slanderous remark nor was she boisterous or cause a disruption of the meeting. Is it slanderous to make the statment "You lied to us all the way along", when it is in fact proven that Mrs Smith has lied throughout her entire campaign and while in office? She continues to lie when she references unity. She continues to lie when she speaks the word accountability. Her presence on the council is a lie.
I agree with the commenter in the previous post, if this recall is serious, she would easily be removed from office.
I think 25 people should now get up at the next meeting and tell her exactly what Donna told her, AGAIN, tell it sinks into her thick commey skull. I hope the investigation gets her before the recall, so she can be made an example out of...
I'll bet Ms. Ennis is scared to death. I certainly would be.
By the way, isn't SBY MD still part of America? Where we have freedom of speech?
Apparently Louise Smith has declared the council chamber a new country....unto itself. Where SHE rules, and no one else matters.
If Louise wishes to cite violations of the city code for public remarks, she would do well to avoid referring to emails. I will say that the word "impertinent" in the code is ridiculous. Any time an official's judgment is questioned in public might be considered as "impertinence." I put that in the same category as saying someone is "rude." So what? In addition, letters written in her capacity as Council President should not be written on her personal stationery. She is attempting to stifle freedom of speech, not correcting someone for using the wrong fork at a dinner party.

What in the world does a message in a private email have to do with the comments/ questions that were asked at the meeting? (Sounds like someone else we know)Let's read the whole email? Was it taken out of context? Maybe.
Sounds like the council members need to go in with an open mind, and not be on the defense. Which is how it should be. There I go wishful thinking again.

There are people on the current council who's husbands,close friends and earlier fellow council members that have tried to damaged my character and all most lied enough to do it, destroyed me financially and these people knew that at these times I could mount no defense or lawsuit at these particular times in my life. all I can say is every dog has their day!And you whining,crying,maligning,bunch of crybabies had better watch your sixes! Mayor if I see you driving drunk I'll dial 911 and follow you all the way until your stopped,in the county of course,and stop to tell the officer while you listen that I'd love to witness as to additional probable cause at your trial! As for the rest of you I know your vices to and I can make your lives miserable and someday soon Joe will get detailed written info about what's been mentioned here and tell him that I may call at any time to have him post these things and many of you won't be able to sleep once it hits print! Louise Smith, you need to get over this power trip and step down. If all of those excerps from Ms. Ennis are actually what she sent you I see nothing wrong with them. What is wrong with those emails, they are quotes and actually they are factual. You are a lying piece of shit and you need to step down. Just because someone is in a position of authority in no way guarantee's respect from anyone. Respect is something that must be earned through integrity, honesty and keeping your word. You Louise have earned nothing.

Fear is not something in me. I fear no one, including Louise. I survived the streets of a big city, the Vietnam conflict, trucking all over the country, I'll surely survive Salisbury, MD. However, I do appreciate your concern.
You can believe, when I have something to say it will take a lot more than Louise Smith and her Mike Dunn antics to prevent me from saying it.

The Tilghman Times would never print the letter, Barrie won't allow it and Greg Bassett doesn't have the gonads to stand up to her and do it.
What did Louise confirm with Greg Latshaw? Did she confirm that Gary said, "I guess this is (seeking) a remedy the election can't get for those folks."? Did she confirm Shanies comment "the petition is a witch hunt and unknown people behind the scenes are likely influencing Reismans motives...in anticipation of Campbell and Cohen not being targeted by the petition."? The best line in the article is the first line, it tells it all. "The Salisbury mayor and her City Council supporters...
Did Louise confirm her own statement? "I would hope the petition is not a concentrated attack (on one part of the council)...
Poor Louise, can't stand the heat so she writes an idiotic letter showing the woman called her a liar on more than one occasion. What a dingbat.

Louise, because she is an elder, I believe thinks that alone will exempt her from any dissenting remarks. But she should know that in order to get respect you have to give respect. Mrs. Smith--you really need to shed the school marm tactics. Also, please do itemize what you personally have done to better the council, the community, government in the sunshine, etc. I hate to say it, but every council meeting you look like you dread it more and more. I feel sure you rue the day when you decided to run and also accept the president title. I really think it is all getting a little too much for you. It has ended up to be quite a bit more than a ceremonial position, something I don't believe you were quite ready to handle. If you do not resign before your term, I hope you do not consider running again---unless you are just a glutton for punishment. The citizens are not school children, and this is America, and until we are no longer free, we will continue to speak out.

The wise old Orioles manager Earl Weaver was a crafty genius. There is great value in being thrown out every once in awhile. It lets people know you are fed up and deadly serious. Have as many people come and get thrown out as possible (without actually crossing the line)....then call the Washington Post and Baltimore Sun. Trust me the fine secretive misfits in local government around here in Maybury don't necessarily care about or fear you. Like cockroaches (I realize this comparison is rather insulting to cockroaches who have more integrity)these losers can only function while there are no lights on in the kitchen. Don't let these A-Holes breathe!!!
If she throws me out without just cause I'll have more than the Baltimore Sun and Washington Post on their collective asses.
