Here is a fact for you. You claim that you know that people are saying nigger all over the salisbury fire department. Well, since racism is illeagal in the state, and I would be willing to bet that in the employee handbook it states there is a no tolerence policy, then that means one of three things.
A. Its nothing more than a buch of bullsh*t rumors started either by you or someone like you.

For so long now, so many people couldn't understand who these people were behind closed doors and now they know.

My Wife honorable worked for the Salisbury Zoo for 18 years and herniated three disks in her back, ON THE JOB.
Get this, bug boys! The City insisted she immediately go to a Physician's Assistant, NOT a real Doctor, (because of the City's Insurance Policy and protocol) in which he stated she hurt her foot instead. She was only OFF that day and was forced to go back to work the following day.
I'd like to see, (and I mean this sincerely) ONE MAN in the entire Fire Department that could get so injured and actually perform their duties the very next day?????
NONE of you are man enough to match her commitment towards those animals. Imagine the pain she suffered until I was able to provide the means for her to go to specialists and find out what the real problem was.

Joe, You need to either go to the NAACP or drop this issue. Its getting old and I feel its untrue. Everyone (black or white) has the same rights to apply for a job with teh SFD. On their commercial they even have a female, black on there to try and show diversity in the SFD. Why don't you try and look into if any blacks have been turned down employment with the SFD. Joe, I'm not sure of the point of the photo. Is this supposed to prove bigotry within the department? I've gone back through some of your posts. I tried to find African_American's in costume at Cherrystone. Were there no people of color there? Is Cherrystone banning black people? Or are you just not taking pictures of them? I looked again at the Wicomico Republican Club's photos..I could find no people of color there either. Is that club racist too? Or did you just take no pics of an Afican American? The most interesting was a picture of Mike L. and others on 9/24 titled Fatal Accident of Route 50. Is the Wicomico County Sheriff's office racist? Or was there just no picture of them? Just wondering...

You were sensationalizing with the photo and successful in continuing to stir the Fire Department Pot. My point was simply the fact that this photo was taken at a party. When I am at a party, I don't find it neccesary to pull an African American in front of the lens in order for me to not be considered a bigot. While I am unsure of the numbers of minorities in the Fire Department or the Sheriff's department, the photo on 9/24 looked much more official that the photo from the party. I am wondering if there are African American's in the upper ranks of the Sherrif's office. If not, why not. If so, why aren't they pictured? Ask Mike for me, will you?

You say you pay city taxes, but the first thing you do is put the fire and police departments down.
