Doesn't it look beautiful? I have spoken to numerous people who were in the Council Meetings where John Jacobs & Jim Rapp made it clearly sound like most of the River would have these logs along the banks and now that it's almost complete it's very clear that's not the case. Also, once the logs are in place they then place rip rap above and below them anyway. I guess it's their way of selling the rip rap job for the whole project.Nevertheless, every Police Officer should pull a Jim Rapp and urinate on it every chance they get.

I just wonder how much polluted drainage is comming from the old mall right into the park and then into the river?
I personally think "everyone" missed the mark on this one.
The MDE has never researched the damage the Salisbury Zoo has been causing to that portion of the river in it's 51 years of existence.
Now that I have made sure the MDE does in fact test the waters there now, I believe they are desperately doing whatever they can to make sure something along the way absorbs whatever the Zoo is putting out before they get caught in another boat load of sh*t again.
Just my thoughts on the matter.
