The Citizens Were Seeing Red Last Night!

As expected, the Mayor wore her usual red jacket last night but we also got a treat from Debbie & Lynn. One wonders if they were trying to let the Mayor know she's known for wearing only two jackets, one red and one yellow? Or were they simply kissing up to the Mayor with compliments? NOT! Nonetheless, we thank you for wearing ANY jacket Barrie, trust me on that one.

Also at another appeal hearing held earlier in the day, when questioned how the Board determined the occupants of the house fit the definition of a "family" per Ordinance 1961, there was stunned silence, then scrambling, until Stevenson said the "family" definition part of 1961 didn't apply to the four to two houses. Um, hello?! Ord 1961 was written specifically for this situation and it does apply. Just wait until you try that argument in the Circuit Court.

So you also know, the loan for this property was also illegal. The got a loan through the first time buyers thingamabopper and the rules were that you had to live in the home for several years. They had moved out in less than a year, so it was said anyway.
