More Proof The Staff At The Zoo Are Careless & Lazy
Back in the day it might have been one thing to rake up all these leaves but I have personally seen them using "professional blowers" where they can very easily remove dead leaves.
The fact that it started raining right after this photo was taken means that things got slippery and more risky simply because they're too lazy to do their jobs.
I know I can get picky at times about the Zoo but look, this is just ridiculous. They have a full time groundskeeper working there and what's even more interesting is that I've watched Zookeepers doing the cleaning up of the walkways recently, so there's just no excuse.
I know for a fact there are literally hours in a day these Zookeepers have absolutely nothing to do and even make things up so they can stop from going crazy. This is out of line, it's risky and it needs to be cleaned up immediately.

There are enough blow hards in the city government that they just need to hold their meetings at the zoo and all this would be easily cleared away with $00 added cost.
