Joe, I don't know how you came by this critter and to tell you the truth I'm not sure I want to know. I imagine it could have something to do with the hunting season now upon us. These albino deer generally do not live long lives. I have seen two in all my years of living in the woods. A neighbor who also lives in the woods, came upon one he assumed was abandoned, (I'm not so sure of that) and tried to hand raise it. The fawn died, but not because my neighbor didn't try to care for it. As I understand it albinos have too many strikes against them genetically and succumb all too easily to infections and diseases that normal deer simply shrug off. If this little one is being cared for by you Alberos I'm sure it won't get any more devoted care anywhere, but you will have your hands full. There are also legal angles involved , which you're probably aware of.
