County Executive Hopeful Charles Jannace & Son Worked The Salisbury WalMart Today

As Charles Jannace would hand out campaign pamphlets they'd sometimes find themselves all over the ground in WalMart and or directly in the trash can. I'm confident some actually stayed in the posession of some voters but when I asked one of the employees inside WalMart what their thoughts were they said, we've been picking these things up off the floor all day long as well as emptying the trash cans because their so full.

You gotta hand it to the guy though, he's out there giving it his best. Could it still be a day late and a dollar short though? We'll see on Tuesday. Little Charles was testing the enter/exit doors as he'd run in and out of them making sure they worked properly.

So very true Art. I personally think it will be a fantastic surprise to ALL voters to see what the actual final numbers will be. Alessi just might be like a Ground Hog and not show his face again till next season!

At least the first lady pictured was smilin'.

Even if a "day late dollar short," he'll pick up some votes. Often, last days o' the election period are when lotsa folks make up their minds.

Maybe Mr. B. hasn't been as aggressive a candidate as ya'd like, but ya still gotta give him credit. Could be that these last couple o' weeks, the reality that he might be makin' a real difference has sunk in.

Hell, my hat's off t'him just fer jumpin' in t'run. If'n ya stop 'n' think 'bout it, t'go from bein' "just a citizen" t'bein' a candidate is a pretty big deal. Unlike others he weren't thinkin' 'bout it a long time, preparin' his strategy, even gettin' ready emotionally.

Fer every person he got excited 'bout the race and the issues, that's one more person that ain't sittin' home thinkin' there ain't nothin' they can do 'bout gov'mint anyhow.

Iyeska,

Maybe you need some rest? This post isn't a slam at all.

I think it's adorable little Charles was out there helping his Father!

I personally thinks it's a fantastic learning tool for his Son, especially since he's home schooled. You can't learn this kind of stuff in a book as compared to actually being there.

No one is slamming anyone Iyeska.

Thanks Iyeska,

I think you know more than anyone out there, if I wanted to slam someone, (especially Charles) I could do so like there's no tomorrow. I call it as I see it and this was reality today.

Might I add, I was amazed to see Charles out there for so many hours as well! I know I spoke with you at 9:30 am and you said he had started his day in the Pittsville Diner at 6:30 a.m. and then went to WalMart at 9:30. Jennifer & I arrived there at 3:00 this evening and he was still there. Now granted, as soon as he saw us he bolted out of there but that's a long hard day. Good for him!

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Good on ya, Accomack. Kids raised on it become adults involved in it. And they love doin' it, too.
