...proving his point that he would gain votes in a recount and thus win the popular vote.
According to current totals, Trump appears to be up by about 69,899 recount votes.
The City of Milwaukee’s absentee ballots still have yet to be recounted.
“Milwaukee counts its absentee ballots centrally (not at the polling place) on Election Night,” the state’s election commission website says. “When those absentee ballots have been counted the numbers will be updated.”
Check out the Wisconsin Recount Results Update page for the latest on the recount, and see for yourself why it’s backfiring spectacularly on Hillary.
When you visit the link, the first set of columns are the original vote tally. The second column of numbers are the official recount results, and the third is the difference between the recount and the original tally. (If a county has not been recounted, it appears as “-100%.”)

Sen. Rand Paul: Trump’s Secretary of State Must Understand ‘Iraq War Was a Mistake'
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) talked with SiriusXM host Matt Boyle on Tuesday’sBreitbart News Daily about his hopes for President-elect Donald Trump’s foreign policy, as expressed through his choice for secretary of state.
Paul said he has “looked at the Secretary of State position as probably one of the most important picks that will come up” and hoped Trump would choose “somebody who understands that the Iraq War was a mistake.”
As one of ten Republicans on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Paul’s vote could be decisive, should all nine Democrats on the committee stand together against Trump’s nominee.
“Regime change hasn’t made us safer, that in order to build … here at home, to rebuild it, we can’t build and spend billions of dollars overseas building other people’s infrastructure,” Paul contended. “Some of the people he’s appointed, I think, have understood this. General Flynn has said that the historical lesson of the Iraq War was that it was a strategic failure, so I think Flynn gets it, and I’m hoping he’ll give him that advice as his national security adviser.”

Missouri Governor-Elect's Wife Robbed at Gunpoint in St. Louis
The wife of Missouri Governor-elect Eric Greitens (R) was robbed at gunpoint in a restaurant parking lot in St. Louis, police report.
Sheena Greitens was sitting in her car looking at her cell phone outside Cafe Ventana near the campus of St. Louis University when robbers abruptly opened her car door, shoved a gun in her face, and demanded her valuables:
Tonight, my wife Sheena—the mother of my two boys, and the future First Lady of Missouri—was robbed at gunpoint.https://www.facebook.com/EricGreitens/posts/10154768158099747 …
The 34-year-old mother of two told police that she complied with their demands and gave up her cell phone and laptop computer.
St. Louis police said in a statement that three teens, ages 12, 15, and 19, were arrested in connection with the robbery.
Donald Trump is TIME's Person of the Year 2016
This is the 90th time we have named the person who had the greatest influence, for better or worse, on the events of the year. So which is it this year: Better or worse? The challenge for Donald Trump is how profoundly the country disagrees about the answer.
It’s hard to measure the scale of his disruption. This real estate baron and casino owner turned reality-TV star and provocateur—never a day spent in public office, never a debt owed to any interest besides his own—now surveys the smoking ruin of a vast political edifice that once housed parties, pundits, donors, pollsters, all those who did not see him coming or take him seriously. Out of this reckoning, Trump is poised to preside, for better or worse.

Housing Secretary Ben Carson Could Junk Obama’s Neighborhood Diversity Regulation
Liberals say Donald Trump’s choice to head the nation’s housing agency could scrap a recent regulation that subordinates housing rules in Americans’ suburbs and small towns to the political preferences of political leaders in the nation’s Democratic-run cities.
Trump picked Dr. Ben Carson to run the Department of Housing and Urban Development, which means that Carson will inherit Obama’s new “Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing” (AFFH) program.
The program allows federal officials to grant or withhold federal housing dollars to local zoning boards, depending on their willingness to comply with federal race and diversity demands.

Democrats Vow To Stall Trump’s Appointees For As Long As Possible
Senate Democrats are gearing up to challenge every appointee President-elect Donald Trump submits, according to a Monday report by Politico.
They don’t have the numbers to actually reject an appointee, but they do have the power to drag on the process as long as possible. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell delayed the confirmation of Judge Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court.
“They’ve been rewarded for stealing a Supreme Court justice. We’re going to help them confirm their nominees, many of whom are disqualified?” fumed Sen. Sherrod Brown. “It’s not obstruction, it’s not partisan, it’s just a duty to find out what they’d do in these jobs.”
Most confirmations require 51 votes, an easy bar if every Republican holds the party line. Democrats do have the ability to force McConnell to hold procedural votes for the nominees. Ranking Democrats are promising a series of such votes.

Teacher Wears BlackLivesMatter Pin – Angered Students Take Matter Into Their Own Hands
A substitute teacher in Clovis, CA has been banned from teaching at Clovis West High. Why? Because he wore a Black Lives Matter pin to school. The school contends it violates their school policy that does not allow political statements by teachers. He is 75 years-old and claims it wasn’t a political statement… that it was a moral one. He only lasted a day teaching before they kicked him out. He’s been subbing for 15 years, but he’s been in hot water before.
Clovis West Deputy Principal Tony LeFore approached David Roberts and told him the pin was not allowed. Roberts took off the pin. He claims that a number of students thanked him for wearing it and shook his hand, but the school says that students and parents both complained about the pin that symbolizes a radical, racist group. They also claim that he did not follow the lesson plan that day, but he contends he did.

Lawmaker: If Concealed Carriers Get Injured In Obama’s ‘GUN FREE ZONE’ They Can SUE!
Representative-elect Rick Schroer of Missouri is introducing legislation that will allow someone who has a gun and then was prevented from being armed by a given establishment to sue if something goes down and they could have prevented it had they been armed. Missouri is not the first state to do this. I think it is a good law. A business should be held accountable if they kept someone from defending others and they got hurt or killed. Missouri allows concealed carry without a permit.
The inspiration for the bill was the July 2012 Aurora, Colorado, movie theater attack. Moviegoers were not allowed to bring arms into the theater, but that didn’t stop a nut from coming in with a gun and killing them. It was a gun-free zone and the media didn’t address that issue at all. I have long said the best way to stop crime is to allow every American citizen to be armed. This is one more step in that direction and it’s a good one. Schroer said, “[The Aurora theater] almost put a target on the back of all the customers there that had to disarm themselves.”

NFL Legend Fran Tarkenton: Trump Boycotters Are Stupid. ‘Nobody Boycotted Obama ‘Cause He’s Black’
Fran Tarkenton is not only an NFL legend, he’s a HUGE fan of Donald Trump. TMZ caught up with him in New York and asked him about athletes who say they won’t go to the White House if invited because Donald Trump is now President. He bluntly called them stupid and disrespectful and I agree. Trump is the President now, have some respect and some integrity. We support our President. I don’t remember anyone pulling this when Barack Obama was elected. In fact, there was a waiting list to go to White House parties. Iman Shumpert is showing a total lack of class for saying he would not go. And I’m disappointed in Lebron James as well… he’s still on the fence about it. It should be a no-brainer.
Anytime a sitting President invites you to the White House, it is an honor. Even for those that are already famous in their own right. And frankly, sports figures have become too much a part of the news and political cycles. This goes to honoring the leader of your country that was selected by a majority of your fellow Americans. For eight long years, we suffered under the Marxist boot of Barack Obama. But we didn’t revolt and most showed deference to him as the President. Donald J. Trump deserves the same respect and all this boycotting is just moronic.

Motion to Rename Columbus Day Fails to Pass
BALTIMORE (WJZ)– After weeks of controversy, the Baltimore City Council votes to strike down a bill that would rename Columbus Day.
Critics of the holiday say it honors a shameful historical figure and promise to keep fighting it in the future.
Those who supported the bill say they are not giving up. Saying they may have lost the battle but the name-war is just getting started.
Christopher Columbus, the Italian explorer with his own holiday and parade died hundreds of years ago, but the controversy over what he represents lives on.

Video Calls Replace In-Person Visits In Some Jails
Since her son Tommy went to jail, Dawn Herbert has been trying to see him as much as she can. He's incarcerated less than a 10-minute drive from her house in Keene, N.H. But he might as well be a lot farther.
"He's in that building and I can't get to him," Herbert says.
Dawn's visits probably don't look like what one might picture, where she's sitting across a table, or behind a pane of Plexiglas looking at and talking to her son.
No. When Herbert visits her son, she has to sit in a windowless booth just past the jail's front door, hold a phone to her ear, and wait for him to show up on a little screen.
