OCEAN CITY, MD – (July 14, 2015): The Ocean City Police Criminal Investigation Division’s Narcotics Unit recently completed multiple drug enforcement buy-bust operations. The buy-bust operations took place at various locations throughout Ocean City during the month of June in an effort to remove drugs from the community. These undercover operations led to 23 drug transactions and 37 drug distribution arrests.
During the undercover operations, detectives seized numerous drugs including marijuana, cocaine and other fake controlled dangerous substances. Detectives also seized four weapons and nearly $3,000 in U.S. currency.
The Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) would like to thank the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Enforcement Team (CET) for their assistance in the drug enforcement operations. The CET consists of members of the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police. Narcotics Unit detectives were also assisted by the OCPD Special Enforcement Unit, Major Crimes Unit and Patrol Division.
Citizens are reminded that undercover officers continue to conduct drug enforcement operations throughout the year to ensure the safety of our residents and visitors. Drug activity often leads to more serious criminal incidents and the OCPD Narcotics Unit is dedicated to keeping the citizens of Ocean City safe.

Scott Walker — The Status Quo’s Likely Foe
The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. That lies at the center of the attraction of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker as he announces his campaign for the Republican nominee for president in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Of the soon-to-be 15 announced GOP presidential primary candidates, Walker stands alone in having a recent record of textbook Republican Platform positions that have been animated into policy. He’s got a winning record on the campaign trail that is equally matched with policy victories. Let’s size him up based on that record, which, strangely enough, seems to match his rhetoric.
First, the “average guy” persona is not merely a poll-driven mirage created by a major consulting firm. Walker is, as the Financial Times noted, the “Everyman.”
Born in Colorado Springs to Patricia and Llew Walker, Scott Walker was raised in a Christian working-class home by a bookkeeping mom and a dad serving as a Baptist minister. On the church minister’s moving circuit, the family moved to Plainfield, Iowa, in 1970 then to Delavan, Wisconsin, in 1977 when Scott was 10.
As a young man, Walker worked and attained Eagle Scout, the Boy Scouts of America’s highest rank, and volunteered in the gubernatorial campaign of Wisconsin’s Tommy Thompson in 1986 — the same year he graduated from Delavan-Darien High School and entered Marquette University. His college years featured an interest in student government, serving as a student senator, average academic achievement, and a job working for IBM.

'Everything That I Did Was Permitted'
Hillary Clinton continues to defend her email record as secretary of state, saying she acted within the law.
"Everything that I did was permitted. There was no law, there was no regulation, there was nothing that did not give me the full authority to decide how I was going to communicate," the 2016 Democratic presidential front-runner said in a CNN interview broadcast Sunday.

Gowdy: Hillary Clinton Faced Email Subpoenas Since 2013
Hillary Clinton faced multiple subpoenas for her private emails as far back as 2013, despite her recent claim that she "never had" a subpoena for her server.
Rep. Trey Gowdy, chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, noted Congress issued two subpoenas to the State Department in August 2013 that included a request for Clinton's emails in addition to the more recent order from his own committee.
"It is a fact that there was a subpoena issued to her in March of 2015," the South Carolina Republican said during an interview Wednesday evening on the "Hugh Hewitt Show."
"It's also a fact that there was a subpoena in existence from another Congressional committee far before that one. So there are two subpoenas. There are letters from Congress. And there's a statutory obligation to her to preserve public records," Gowdy said.
The early subpoenas, which Gowdy said produced the first of Clinton's emails, were sent to the State Department by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee "well before" the select committee was created to investigate the Benghazi terror attack.

Report: ISIS Plotting Female Jihad On Christian Sites
ISIS reportedly has tasked nearly a dozen members of its brutal all-female police force, the Al-Khansaa Brigade, with launching attacks on religious sites in Europe, particularly those sites that are Christian in nature.
The Daily Mail cited the president of the Centre for Strategy, Military and Security Studies in Syria, Fahad Al-Masri, who said the normally burqa-clad women will pose as tourists for their new mission.
“Women are not as difficult as men to sneak into countries and there are many European women in the Al-Khansaa Brigade, like French and British, which makes it easier for them to get in undetected,” he said, the Daily Mail reported. “We don’t think the women will be wearing a hijab or burqa, so they do not stand out. They will be normal like everybody, as if they are tourists.”

What's Next For The Cures Bill
It's the Senate's turn to work on medical cures legislation, now that the House has overwhelmingly approved its sweeping new bill.
Aides and lobbyists don't expect a final bill until next year at the earliest, with the Senate expected to pass its own version later this year and then merge it with the House bill. And there will be many issues for lawmakers to work out — such as how much extra funding to give federal agencies for the research, development and approval of new treatments, and how to pay for it.
As chairman of the Senate's Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., will head up the effort's next phase. Five groups of committee members are meeting weekly to discuss what the bill should contain.
"The Senate is on a parallel track with the House and hopes to have legislation by the end of the year," a senior GOP aide said.
While partisanship has marked most healthcare discussions in Congress over the last five years, as lawmakers hotly debate Obamacare, the cures effort has brought most together in a rare bipartisan fashion.
"It's time now we as a nation got serious about curing the major diseases that are affecting this country," Rep. Phil Roe, R-Tenn., said Friday.

Man Posts Video Online Saying He Will Be in Standoff With Cops Over Eviction, ‘Fully Expects’ to Die
A Michigan man who claims his home is illegally being foreclosed on vowed in an online video over the weekend to use force to protect the property and said he fully expects to die in a standoff with authorities.
On Friday, the Isabella County District Court ruled that Bank of America could ask for an eviction order next Monday if Ted Visner doesn’t immediately vacate his home, or has not appealed the decision, The Morning Sun reported.
Visner, who says he was also at odds with Isabella County officials five years ago over an improper eviction, has maintained online that he is being wrongfully foreclosed on.

The Danger of a Complacent Majority
Surrendering the culture wars to the secularists is not the answer
With all the calls to conservatives to give up on the culture, the only thing lacking is a drone-riding witch over the Statue of Liberty skywriting “Surrender Dorothy.”
Right on cue following the Supreme Court’s demolition of marriage, The New York Times’ housebroken conservative David Brooks said it’s time to move on and leave cultural political issues in the dust.
First, he accurately diagnosed the situation: “More and more Christians feel estranged from mainstream culture. They fear they will soon be treated as social pariahs, the moral equivalent of segregationists because of their adherence to scriptural teaching on gay marriage. They fear their colleges will be de-certified, their religious institutions will lose their tax-exempt status, their religious liberty will come under greater assault.”
Indeed.
Then he offered a solution:

Hungary Starts Building A Fence
Hungary has begun building a fence on the country's southern border with Serbia, meant to stem the unprecedented flow of migrants, the government said Monday.
Military personnel began working on a 150-meter (490-foot) "sample section" Monday morning on the outskirts of the town of Morahalom, where a bulldozer and other heavy machinery were preparing the ground for construction, according to a joint statement from the interior and defense ministries.
"A daily average of 1,000 illegal border crossers are arriving in Hungary, so illegal immigration has become a severe problem and its control a prominent task," the ministries said.

Please Help Find a Home for These Abandoned Kittens
Joe, Thank you for your miracles in saving animals! Hopefully you can work your magic again!
I must find a home soon for these adorable little kittens who were left behind in a ditch. Wish I could keep them, but I already have too many pets. They use a litter box and are quite playful and like to snuggle. They are not feral. If you have any interest in one or both kittens, call 410-422-2172.
Thank you, sir.

'A Squid..'
Conservative Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan doesn't think Donald Trump will have any lasting effect on the presidential race or the Republican Party.
Noonan wrote in her latest column that Trump is experiencing a boom, thanks in large part to reporters who like covering him, and that will soon taper. But not before he makes the other Republicans in the race feel some stress.
"Mr. Trump's loquacity will be a challenge in the debates," wrote Noonan. "How will anyone get a word in edgewise? Candidates will rely on the moderator. The moderator may amuse himself by stepping back and watching the fun. None of the candidates will want to take Mr. Trump head-on because he doesn't play within the margins of traditional political comportment.
"He's a squid: poke him and get ink all over you."

Mark Levin: ‘I Am Becoming Increasingly Radicalized For Liberty’
Nationally syndicated radio host Mark Levin said on his Thursday broadcast that he is “becoming increasingly radicalized for liberty” in the face of an “increasingly inhumane, increasingly vicious” and “tyrannical” federal government.
Levin went on to criticize a proposal made Wednesday by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to pay doctors for discussing end-of-life options with senior patients.
“Families have these discussions -- children with their parents -- not the federal government paying doctors and nurses to have this discussion so they can just wipe them off the Medicare roles,” Levin said.
Here is the full transcript of what Levin said:

LIBERALS CREATE HOMOSEXUAL VERSION OF THE BIBLE THAT WON’T OFFEND GAYS
Group has coined the book the “Queen James Bible”
The White House has been lit in rainbow colors in honor of gay pride, and in conjunction, the world now has its first “gay friendly” Bible. Well, they can call it a Bible all they want, but the blasphemous book is far from the teachings of Jesus Christ.
A gay group has coined the book the “Queen James Bible.” Below are some of the verses it takes the liberty of misrepresenting, courtesy of the Conservative Post:
1. Leviticus 18:22
KJV: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination.
QJV: Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind in the temple of Molech: it is an abomination. (Page 75)
2. Leviticus 20:13
KJV: If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
QJV: If a man also lie with mankind in the temple of Molech, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Page 76)

Many Immigrants Re-Arrested After Detainers Declined
More than 1,800 immigrants that the federal government wanted to deport were nevertheless released from local jails and later re-arrested for various crimes, according to a government report released Monday.
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement report — obtained by an organization that actively opposes illegal immigration — said the re-arrested immigrants were among 8,145 people who were freed between January and August 2014, despite requests from federal agents that they be held for deportation.
The report provided by the Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies says about 23 percent were eventually taken into custody again on a variety of charges.
Many jurisdictions have stopped honoring so-called immigration detainers, saying they can't hold arrestees without probable cause.

Missouri County Will Lower Flags To Mourn Gay Marriage Ruling For A Year
Flags at the Dent County Courthouse and Judicial Building will now fly at “below half-staff” on the 26th day of every month from July 2015 until July 2016, the Salem News reported, to mark the day SCOTUS handed down the ruling that legalized same-sex marriage nationwide.
Presiding Commissioner Darrell Skiles filed a letter into the record ahead of the vote staking his opposition to “the U.S. high court’s [sic] stamp of approval of what God speaks of as an abomination.”
Skiles also wrote that “all who see these flags at this lowered position be reminded of this despicable Supreme Court travesty” as reason enough to approve the plan.
