Princess Anne Police Department Press Release 11-13-14
On 11-9-14, the Princess Anne Police Department took a report of theft of a credit / debit card. Investigation revealed that the suspect stole the card from the victim’s vehicle while the victim was providing the suspect transportation. The suspect has been identified and charges are currently pending.
On 11-8-14, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Kevin Darnell Stanford Sr., 49, of Middle River Maryland for driving under the influence of alcohol. The arrest stemmed from a complaint of a vehicle stopped in the roadway on Mt. Vernon Road in the area of Carol Lane. Stanford Sr. was found to be the operator of the vehicle and was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Stanford Sr. was released from custody upon being issued his traffic citations.

Dredging Conowingo little help to bay, study finds
Dredging millions of tons of sediment from the Susquehanna River upriver of the Conowingo Dam would potentially cost billions of dollars and do little to help the Chesapeake Bay compared with cleanup efforts already underway, a new federal-state study found.
Gov.-elect Larry Hogan and critics of the current pollution-fighting strategies contend that removing massive amounts of sediment flowing down the river would help restore the Chesapeake more than controversial measures to levy stormwater fees, restrict septic-based development or limit farming practices.
The study, to be released Thursday by state officials and the Army Corps of Engineers, concludes that the sediment washed into the bay from the Susquehanna after extreme weather mostly hurts a small part of the upper bay. The study was launched following Tropical Storm Lee three years ago.

Lucrative tolls on passing trade are collected by whoever controls the crossing, meaning jihadist groups are very likely to be turning a healthy profit on taxing trade, tapping an income stream previously the sole reserve of the legitimate Syrian government of Bashar al-Assad.

According to the latest neuroscience, the human brain uses neurons in the left visual cortex to process written words as whole word units. The brain combines these words and their stored meanings to remember and understand information.
Analytical thinking is the process of remembering words and putting their meanings into context. This process is not simply accessing a mental dictionary. Every time you use words, you re-create their meaning.
The words you habitually use when you're thinking (and then expressing those thoughts) mold how you see the world. For example, people who habitually think (and speak and write) the word "hate" tend to find an ever-increasing number of things to hate.

He was only 42, but years of prescription drug abuse and horrifying dietary habits had left him bloated, depressed and near death. He had an enlarged heart, an enlarged intestine, hypertension and incredibly painful bowel problems. He was barely sleeping and should have probably been in the hospital, but he was still a huge draw on the concert circuit and the money was too good to turn down. It had been over a year since Elvis last released a studio album, and manager Colonel Tom Parker was determined to get more product into the stores. Despite Elvis' horrid shape, Parker arranged for a camera crew to film the June 19th show in Omaha for a planned TV special and live album. It eventually aired on CBS two months after Elvis died, and has yet to resurface in any official capacity. This isn't the Elvis that his estate wants the fans to remember. Two days later, the cameras were still rolling when the tour hit Rapid City, South Dakota. It was another weak and sad night until Elvis sat down at the piano near the end to deliver a spellbinding rendition of "Unchained Melody." As guitarist Charlie Hodge held a microphone, Elvis dug deep and poured his heart into the song. His body was falling apart, but his voice remained almost as powerful as ever. Without any doubt, it's the last great moment of his career. The tour limped along through five more shows, wrapping up June 26th at the Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana. The show ended with "Can't Help Falling in Love." He died less than two months later.

Video From a Hospital Bed That the Patient Says Shows Incident So Disturbing He Hasn’t ‘Been the Same’ Since
“It has caused me a lot of damage. I haven’t been the same since this happened,” the unnamed victim said at a news conference this week, according to WFOR-TV. “He put his hands in my boxers and he grabbed my private part and he started playing with it.”
WPLG-TV reported that the alleged victim went to the hospital in the first place with leg and back pain on Sept. 15. In the emergency room at Palm Springs General Hospital in Hialeah, the man he said he was given medication that made him drowsy. There he alleged that such inappropriate behavior by ER Tech Rene Martinez happened not once but twice.

Burwell was touting the upcoming Obamacare enrollment period, which begins Saturday, on a webcast with several Latina bloggers when she stepped outside her typical domain and advocated for a change in immigration policy.
“DREAMers are not able to be covered in the marketplace,” Burwell said in response to a question about whether families with mixed immigration statuses can get Obamacare coverage. “And this is an issue that I think is more than a health care issue — it is an immigration issue.”
