October Mortgage Purchase Applications Collapse To Decade Lows
Applications for mortgages for the purchase of a home plunged at nearly the fastest pace in 9 months this week, dropping to their lowest since the Christmas week 2012 - and lowest since February 2012. Now down over 20% from their May highs, the plunge is a problem - since as BofA's CEO noted earlier:

Baywater Animal Rescue Completes Successful Charette Workshop For The Design Of Proposed Adoption Center
(Cambridge, MD) -- Baywater Animal Rescue, the Mid-Shore’s premiere No Kill animal rescue and adoption agency, led a Charrette Design Workshop November 2nd to gain input from the community on the design of a revolutionary pet adoption/community center in Cambridge, Maryland.
Baywater’s Board President, Jerilyn Gibbs, opened the workshop stating that “Baywater’s plan is simple: bring people and pets together in every way possible, so that everyone benefits.” Executive Director Suzette Stitely outlined the need for a new facility.
The workshop was designed by Cambridge City Planner Anne Roane and architect Sarah Abel of Eastern Shore Land Conservancy. Presenters included architects Jay Orr of ARQ Architects in Baltimore and Alex Gilliam founder of Public Workshop in Philadelphia. Representative Jeannie Haddaway gave the keynote address, followed by Senator Richard Colburn and Representative Addie Eckardt who voiced support of the project.
Graduate students from the University of Maryland, led by Dr. Victoria Chanse, developed concept statements for the facility based on the morning breakout groups. The afternoon breakout groups focused on design of the adoption center, as well as indoor and outdoor spaces for community use.
“We want to thank everyone who volunteered their time and talents to make this a very successful workshop,” Gibbs said. “The ideas gathered here will be critical to this project going forward.” The next step will be to incorporate the workshop’s results into concept drawings and use these creative concepts to help form Phase II, the assessment and development of Baywater’s capital fundraising campaign. Slowing Growth Clouds Jobs Outlook
The Labor Department on Friday is expected to report the economy added 120,000 jobs in October, below the 148,000 recorded in September and the trend for months prior.
Unemployment should remain about 7.2 percent.
The government shutdown and uncertainty about its precise impact on the data cloud Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) estimates and forecasters' projections. However, a slowing economy is having a more significant, damaging effect on the jobs outlook.

The Star-Ledger, the largest newspaper in New Jersey, endorsed President Barack Obama for re-election last October. A little more than a year later, the paper’s editorial board has drawn parallels with Obama and Richard Nixon.
Specifically, the newspaper cited his widely disputed statements on Obamacare, the National Security Agency’s spying on foreign allies, and on dealing with Syria’s chemical weapons, and asked, “What’s the public to believe?”
In the editorial, which carried the headline, “Obama’s Growing Credibility Gap,” the board wrote: “It’s more than not just an old wives’ tale that a politician is only as good as his word. It’s mostly true.”

48 BGF Members Indicted
The Baltimore City State's Attorney's office announced the indictments Thursday. Prosecutors say 38 defendants are charged with taking part in a gang conspiracy. Seven are charged with first-degree murder for allegedly killing eight victims. Other charges include assault, robbery and gun and drug charges.

End Of Daylight Savings Time The Start Of Deadliest Season For Pedestrians
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Daylight Savings Time ended recently, making this the most dangerous time of year for pedestrians. Shorter days and an hour less of daylight during evening commutes means reduced visibility, which typically leads to an increase in crashes involving pedestrians, as well as cyclists, during the darker autumn months.
Last year, in November and December there were more than 400 crashes involving pedestrians in the D.C. metro area. In 2012, 3,369 crashes in the Washington region resulted in 69 pedestrian and 3 bicyclist fatalities. These deaths accounted for 26.7 percent of the 270 traffic fatalities in the Washington region.

I, (for one) am selling off my Maryland properties as I have had enough. Maryland has to be one of the worst states to invest into, second only to New Jersey.
Delaware is BOOMING. Between brand new residential developments, commercial developments are popping up like there's no tomorrow as well. Nevertheless, messages like this simply DUMB DOWN AMERICANS and IF you happen to support and believe what Governor O'Malley is saying you are a fool.
Obama and O'Malley and O'Ireton want you to believe this will resolve America's economic problems and grow the middle class. No it won't. It will bankrupt America. Obama has already destroyed the FULL TIME job, unless you work for the government, that is. Businesses are being forced to make everyone go part time and the ONLY reason for this is to LOWER unemployment because Obama doesn't want to be known as the President who lost so many jobs.

Delaware Spends $4 Million On Obamacare Enrollment, Signs Up Four People
The state of Delaware spent $4 million in federal grant money on Obamacare enrollment and has only signed up four people in the last month– effectively costing taxpayers $1 million per enrollee.
Alyssa Canobbio at Americans for Tax Reform writes:
Delaware has finally released its Obamacare enrollment number: Four.
Yes, a grand total of four state residents have fully enrolled in Obamacare. The cost to American taxpayers: $1 million per enrollee.
The state spent $4 million in federal grant money on four community organizations. Two of the community organizations have yet to have a single successful enrollment. The state blames the glitchy website and delays in background checks for the marketplace guides.
