Barry County Sheriff Dar Leaf shared a stage with one of the men, William Null, during a May anti-lockdown rally in Grand Rapids, according to Fox 17.
Asked about his involvement with Null Thursday, Leaf appeared to downplay the seriousness of the kidnapping accusations, even suggesting the plot may have been warranted.
“Well it’s just a charge, and they say a plot to kidnap. . .are they trying to kidnap? Because a lot of people are angry with the governor and they want her arrested so, are they trying to arrest or was it a kidnap attempt?” he said.
Leaf continued: “Because you can still, in Michigan, if it’s a felony, you can make a felony arrest . . . and it doesn’t say if you’re in elected office, that you’re exempt from that arrest. So I have to look at it from that angle, and I’m hoping that’s more of what it is."

Exactly, but all you slaves want to believe the media, who already told you to your face they are liars, and further my point, they have proven this by actually lying to you!!! And again, I am not for or against these people to commit a crime, but I sure as heck won't believe some Politician or a cop when they are both known liars, and it is in fact in the job description, and on top of that it has been established by SCOTUS, cops can lie to you... The fact that an actual sheriff is making these claims, might hold water... Just becasue most of you are uneducated, or refuse to research laws and anything else is your fault, your problem and doesn't mean anything is less or more true... Just like how all of you cops, and ass cheek sucking cop lovers, will say all orders a cop gives is lawful, yet if the cop ordered you to suck his penis, is that going to far??? Hmm????? Would that be a lawful order to you who think all cops do no wrong??? To those who think all orders a cop gives is lawful??? Hmmm???
