Door-to-door trick-or-treating and costume masks and parties are discouraged this year due to the pandemic, the CDC said.
"Many traditional Halloween activities can be high-risk for spreading viruses," the agency said in its posting. "There are several safer, alternative ways to participate in Halloween."
The new guidance lists "low-risk, moderate and higher risk activities" for celebrating All Hallow's Eve.

Man, I wasted a lot of money on costumes and props! Like the one of Sleepy Joe being transported in a casket. And Lying Donald dressed as a member of the Russian Parliament. Being a true Republican I Guess I’ll go back to my traditional Richard Nixon garb.
For once I agree with the CDC. I would love to see trick or Treating to be a thing of the past.
If you worried about your health don't participate. Shut the door, turn off the lights, whatever, but do not take this away from the kids!!!! They have lost so much this year. Don't give me that "kids will spread the germs" crap. They are exposed to the same people you are exposed to at the grocery store, work, etc.
You have a better chance of getting it from adults on your day to day activities than you do from kids, hell they have been WAY more isolated than the average adult.
Protect yourself !
I guess they'll want to cancel Christmas. Oh, that's right. It's after November 3rd
12:06 I honestly feel sorry for you if you think Halloween should be a thing of the past- you must have had a terriable- childhood, personally- I look forward to Pelosi being "A thing of the Past"
My 4 year old granddaughter loves it. Playing dress up. So fk off.
cdc is just as crooked as the fbi, and yes 3:30, Christmas comes early this year like it did in 2016. I can't wait

Who listens to the CDC?? They have been wrong on EVERYTHING. They have gotten caught giving FALSE information. More than once. They were even defending CHINA out the gate.
