Federal prosecutors are mulling criminal charges against Trump’s fired National Security Advisor John Bolton for disclosing classified information in his new book.
An excerpt from John Bolton’s book titled, “The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir” was released to the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday.
The White House pushed back on the release of the book saying the book if filled with classified information.
In the released transcripts, Bolton claims President Trump asked Chinese leader Xi Jinping for help in the upcoming election.

DOJ has had book since January. A little late to claim anything said by Trump is highly classified. More of a wish than a legal precept.
I remember how angry he was when we didn't declare war on Venezuela.he was livid.
Another excuse to start impeachment proceedings. Bolton should be put in prison. Any media publishing Bolton's trash should be shut down. If Democrats can shut down America for a fake virsus America can shut down the media.
Bolton's last payday, that's why his greedy guts self is so eager to get the book in print. After the election nobody, including his mom, will be remotely interested in him or his ramblings.
He was clearly warned that vetting of the contents for classified contents was an ironclad requirement. He knew that. And, yes, the more he tried to slip in the longer the vetting might take. But for all his security clearances, he's putting his payday over America's best interests. The books should be under lock and key until the security process is complete. If they can be sold after that without changes, fine. If material needs redacted they should be destroyed, and the revised text vetted also.
Bolton should be severely punished, lose his security clearance and end up as Weinstein's cellmate.
The 'Rats hate him and no Republican will hire him because of his breach. Truly his last possible payday. Shame on him!

As a nation, under the management of the president, there are a long list of things only limited number of officials should be privy to. You know that. And those entrusted with info, clearances, and helping formulate decisions should be people of character and honor.
Leakers forfeit that trust when they put the information they had access to on the front lawn for public display. If the disagreement is so substantial, resign and say we had opposite viewpoints. You've made your position clear without giving up the ship, and your honor is intact. Bolton has not fit that template for quite some time; he and his reputation are toast with all points of view and parties. Hope he is prosecuted.

Wild Bill Barr was all set to order the DOJ to file treason charges against Bolton. Unfortunately he and the DOJ found out that telling the truth is not a crime. Not to be deterred the huge, unbelievable, larger than large crowd at the BOK Arena clearly shows that the Sleepy Joe vs. Lying Donald race is going to be a real barn burner. And the new swing states of Texas, Arizona and Iowa will be really fun to watch!
