Northwest Woodsman: We have a heritage museum of flight on the mainland in Everett, WA and I hear the sounds of WWII warbirds flying over my property almost every weekend. The sound of those Pratt and Whitney radial engines is indescribable. In 1978, as a US Government pilot flying WWII era naval aircraft built in 1943, it warms my heart to hear them flying over. I wonder if they will go the way of confederate statues. Eventually some minority will complain that these organizations represent some sort of repression.
