Today, King Conservation District officials announced that some 1.2 million residents in the Seattle area will be able to use their smartphones to vote in an upcoming election, a first in American history.
Eligible voters can access ballots for a board of supervisors election by using their name and birth date to log in to a customized web page designed for smartphone browsers
The mobile web page will record all of their votes and let them submit their completed ballots starting today and going through February 11th.

There's no way people can cheat, right?
So, they can call and vote on their expensive Apple phone and vote 4 or more times from their multiple obama phones under a different name and birth date?
Oh how wrong can these states get with the voting. It's crooked enough without doing this.
The technology exists to certify your taxes and identity I do not understand why voting is such an issue.
Prediction: Many will attempt to cast their votes only to find that someone else has done it for them.
We weigh the ballots accordiing to the voter's view. The crazies only get a .25% credit example.
