A school system in Virginia is conducting an experiment that could possibly benefit the pro-life movement.
Fairfax County Public Schools, one of the largest districts in the country, has adopted a plan to allow students in grades 7 through 12 to take one day away from school per year for "civic engagement activities," such as marches or protests. The policy is due to take effect January 27, according to reports by news outlets.
Some experts told The Washington Post that allowing students to effectively skip school to attend protests tends to favor liberal causes. But one conservative movement that might benefit is the pro-life movement.
