MAC is offering a series of free Medicare open enrollment events throughout the Lower Shore, featuring one-on-one counseling with members of MAC’s State Health Insurance Program (SHIP). Participants should bring their Medicare card and all medications in their original containers; do not bring lists of medications.
Registration will begin 30 minutes before the start of each enrollment event, and participants will be seen in the order of their arrival.
This is a free service.
Medicare Part D open enrollment sessions will be held at MAC from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the following Fridays: Oct. 25, Nov. 1, Nov. 8, Nov. 15, Nov. 22 and Dec. 6.
Open enrollment also will be held at MAC on Monday, Nov. 25, from 1-3 p.m. In addition, other open enrollment events, all held from 1 to 3 p.m., include:
- Ocean Pines Library, Monday, Oct. 28
- Cambridge Library, Wednesday, Oct. 30
- Pittsville Library, Monday, Nov. 4
- Pocomoke Library, Wednesday, Nov. 6
- Snow Hill Library, Tuesday, Nov. 12
- Crisfield Library, Wednesday., Nov. 13
- Berlin Library, Monday, Nov. 18
- Cambridge Library, Thursday, Nov. 21.

Visited yesterday and these ladies are very well informed and articulate sensible and easy to understand explanations and choices. Well worth the time for many of us who are confounded by the Medicare guides etc. Best of all, it's FREE!
