This is an important status update for students, families and staff of James M. Bennett High School. This morning the school was put in safe in place status after a concerning phone call. School administration is working closely with law enforcement to investigate the call. Students are remaining in their classrooms at this time. We will soon be releasing them to their next class and lunch. The school day will continue and you do not need to pick up your student. However, if you wish to sign out your student, please come to the main entrance doors with a photo ID to sign out your student. We will update you soon. Please know that the safety of students and staff is our highest priority. Thank you.

What is going on in this brand new huge school. What areas attend Bennett? Try schooling on line. K-12 is a free Government on-line education tool available to all free. Safer than schools today
