A five-year-old boy has returned home after being thrown from a third-floor balcony at the Mall of America in Minnesota.
Landen Hoffman of Woodbury has been discharged from hospital after completing impatient treatment for the near 40ft fall five months ago.
In August the family announced that he was no longer in intensive care and now back at home will need rehabilitation before he can return to school.
His extensive injuries included a broken leg and fractures to his face and skull after the random attack by Emmanuel Deshawn Aranda, 24, the New York Post reported.

Wish the no good trash that threw the young boy off the balcony would receive what he truly deserves.
Great news. But I must say if I had seen it. That guy would have been right behind the little boy!!
I hope someone throws the thug POS off the third tier in prison.
