He could have killed someone swimming out there.
Great job on the part of the pilot. The emergency landing was far enough out to avoid any swimmers but close enough that that he was able to get onto the shore before plane sunk.

For the record,the pilot works for a large co.that scouts schools of fish for a bait co.radios the trawler that catches them.he was returning from offshore.very knowledgable pilot to pull off a crash landing
That was a great landing.
Another gallon of fuel and he would have made it back to the airport. Running out of fuel is pilot error. The weather was perfect...no excuse.
Why didn't anyone swim out? Bunch of folded arms is all I see.

They allow these idiots to use planes to Target schools of fish?? If that's what he was doing then I'm glad his ass went for a swim @11:45! I'll bet it was even a japJapan fishing vessel he was spotting for too
