Some upstate New York county clerks are taking a stand against the state’s controversial new law granting driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants.
Clerks in Erie, Rensselaer, Niagara and Allegany counties have said they won’t be handing out the licenses, despite the legislation signed Monday by Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Erie County Clerk Michael Kerns said he believes the Green Light Bill, which passed the state Senate 33-29, conflicts with federal policy — and is ready to go to court with his concerns.

They did and you could be in and out of DMV in less than 15 minutes. I guess they missed the money they were making and changed it back to where they can now get them again. I remember when they changed it back illegals were packed in there on the one side. Several reading all the new information they were given after getting their EBT cards and welfare information.
So in the short term he might be fired. However, in the long term he may very well win big with a lawsuit for being fired for adhering to the law.

@ June 22, 2019 at 3:47 AM. There are other who are on ebt and welfare who are given the ability to cheat on their written test to get their license. I saw this first hand. I went to the DMV with my wife to get her ID card and there was a black teenager with his cell phone in hand reading from the screen to someone else for the answers. There was a black officer behind the counter who looked right at him and just turned around and said nothing to him. It was obvious as hell what he was doing.How many others took their test and used a cell phone to get the answers and he let them do it? I would say quite a few as to how many I have seen who have a lack of driving skills and no knowledge of what they are doing.
How will those illegals get a license when they should have to provide information as to who they are. Just like all of US are required to do this year. If we do not, we DO NOT get our license. It's called the Real ID program. But these illegals can get their without proving who they are. How can a state get away with doing such as this. And right in our face, too? Are we going to put up with this? I guess we have all traded in our cohonies for female parts.
@ June 22, 2019 at 2:38 AM. NO, they did not. Maryland has what is called a non-compliant drivers license. For illegals who cannot prove who they are. Can you believe that? If we cannot or will not prove who we are, we will be denied a license, entry into a Federal building, and denied the right to fly. They take better care of illegals than they do their own citizens. I just do not know how much longer we can put up with this garbage.
