President Trump has reduced the number of Syrian refugees entering the United States by more than 60 percent compared to former President Obama’s surge of Syrian nationals arriving in the country.
Since Trump’s inauguration, he has reduced the levels at which Syrian refugees are arriving in the U.S. Between January 20, 2017, and June 2019, only about 2,419 Syrian refugees have entered the country — nearly 97 percent of which are Muslim and 1.4 percent of which are Christians and Catholics.
Compare this level to Obama’s surge of Syrian refugees between January 20, 2014, and June 2016 when about 6,368 Syrian nationals were granted entry to the country. Almost 99 percent of the Syrian refugees admitted by the Obama administration during this period were Muslim and less than 0.8 percent were Christians and Catholics.

Great start. Now get it to zero, 45!
Make it 99%
Why would ANY president allow refugees in this country from a terrorist nation??
I would gladly trade 1051 and 1057 for some refugees.
1102 you see, how it works is, refugees are generally fleeing from crap places to find safety and security.
103-But, if you don't follow the UN asylum rules, which clearly state refugees seeking asylum should seek asylum close to their home countries, it practically eliminates all foreign refugee asylum claims to come to America. You're supposed to claim asylum in the first safe place you come to as a fleeing refugee, not halfway around the world. Those are the rules. And that's how it's actually supposed to work, according to the United Nations.
I will be upset if he doesn't win reelection. His wisdom is beyond words.
It seems your interpretations runs counter to US policy on asylum going back decades. Loo. We traditional have large numbers of refugees from Europe, Asia, Africa, etc. Hardly anything new. And depending on what side of Islam or what ethnic group or tribe one is in, simply going next door womt keep your head from getting cut off.
