American colleges and universities are failing in one of their most basic missions: to equip students with the tools they need for a career.
Many students graduate ill-prepared to earn a living and pay off the debt they’ve accumulated getting their degrees—40% of those who start college don’t finish within six years.
Additionally, students are often subject to indoctrination into socialist ideology. They face hostility toward opinions that don’t conform to the predominantly leftist thinking on campus.
They’re also immersed in identity politics that pit students of different backgrounds against one another.

Stop paying the professors 500.000 and the dean MILLIONS.
I don't understand why people can see this. Student loans are the very reason why college costs too much- you cannot charge more for a good or service than people are able to pay. If I make a car, but charge a million dollars to buy it, no one will. Simple as that. But, if I KNOW that you can get a million dollar loan, then I can go right ahead and demand that price.
The problems isn't colleges.
They will charge what the market will bear.
The problem is perception. The perception is that you will not get a decent job or a paying job without a degree.
Many companies won't hire you unless you have a degree, regardless if it actually is needed to do the job.
So, until public perception changes, and hiring practices change... expect ZERO change in college tuition or enrollment.
