Due to anticipated inclement weather conditions, Worcester County Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, February 20, 2019, for students and 10-month staff. All after school, evening and Adult Education classes are also cancelled.

Please share....we are calling a two-hour delay for tomorrow morning because of the impeding snowstorm. We have a forecast that shows temperatures rising but to be safe we will start with a two hour delay and reevaluate in the morning by 6AM. 12 month staff needs to report as normal to prepare the buildings in case we open.

Silly nonsense. Schools are delayed or cancelled because of concerns about getting students to or from classes safely. Your kids or grandkids.
Teachers are contracted to work a certain number of days; cancellations merely extend the school year.
Most teachers are not Democrats or Democrat leaning, although their state and national union is. Dealing with your kids is a daily reminder of which political philosophy works best.
