Data programmer, 38, who was killed by single punch at Philadelphia park

Police have identified the dog walker who was killed by a single punch after he got in an argument with another man at a park in South Philadelphia.

Drew Justice, 38, and his fiancée Kristi Buchholz were walking their black Shih Tzu at Gold Star Park on Saturday night around 9.15pm when they came across the other man, whose pet pit bull was running free.

An argument ensued after Justice, a data programmer, asked the owner to put his dog on a leash because he feared for his own dog's safety.

Things escalated to the point that the man punched Justice, causing him to fall backward and hit his head on the concrete sidewalk.

The suspect fled the scene on foot as witnesses rushed in to help Justice.

Suspect has been caught. He has a history of confrontational violence and they are only charging him with man slaughter.
