White House suspends Jim Acosta's credentials

The White House suspended the media credentials of CNN reporter Jim Acosta on Wednesday night, citing his “absolutely unacceptable” conduct for tussling with a White House intern at a presidential press conference earlier in the day.

Mr. Acosta learned of the move when a Secret Service officer confiscated his White House credentials, known as a “hard pass,” as he tried to re-enter a security gate at the White House.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said the president believes in a free press and welcomes tough questions, but will “never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern.”

“This conduct is absolutely unacceptable,” she said.

During a contentious press conference in the East Room earlier Wednesday, Mr. Acosta was questioning the president’s characterization of a migrant caravan from Central America as an “invasion.” The reporter, often a target of Mr. Trump’s barbs of “fake news,” offered his own opinion that it wasn’t an invasion.

Mr. Trump retorted, “I think you should — honestly, I think you should let me run the country, you run CNN .. and if you did it well, your ratings would be much better.”

When Mr. Acosta tried to ask another question, Mr. Trump cut him off, saying “That’s enough.”

Time for these brats to understand the decorum and common manners that should be awarded toward the Office of the Presidency. Although one may disagree with the methods of an opposing party, one should have the self-control to over-come childlike tantrums, or, be sent to your room. In this case, he was grounded.

Acosta uses bullying tactics to get his way due to his deficient mental and social skill abilities.

Yes decorum: go in and ask softabll questions and never challenge the outright lies being spewed from the podium. You guys are sick

Let's see who Acosta II will be .

I know it would not be becoming of the POTUS to bitch slap this boy, but I wouldn't be offended if Trump had walked up and knocked him out with one blow. He could actually blame it on the left wing nuts yelling if you see them in a restaurant, a gas station, anywhere get in their face and tell them they aren't wanted there.

The reporters aren't interested in "informing the public".
They are interested in going viral with the best "gotcha" question they can lob and trying to give him "Have you stopped beating your wife?" questions to embarrass the President.
He got what he had coming.
Next up?
The stupid b**ch who asked him about white nationalism.
Refer to my second sentence for THAT.

Good. He doesn't understand any part of "sit down and shut up".

Long overdue to pull his credential, based on how he's acted out in normal pressers.

When the President is actually at the podium extra good behavior is required. And that doesn't mean floating marshmallow questions. A tough question can be respectfully asked.

Hope Acosta finds it uncomfortable to sit down for a couple months. But we're more likely to see him at the WH fence with a 'poor, poor me' act.
